Smart Start, powered by Titan Intelligence, automatically adds a few hundred common services personalized to the contractor in as little as a day - a job that used to take weeks or months for HVAC shops migrating from spreadsheets or older pricebooks. Content covers pricing, material costs, product images, service descriptions, and labor hour estimates, all refreshed regularly by ServiceTitan's pricing team.
For HVAC contractors, Pricebook Pro also exposes Regional Pricing Averages so operators can benchmark their rates against their local market and adjust up or down with data. Smart Recommendations surface upsell opportunities based on market data, and explainer PDFs give techs professional collateral to communicate service value. High-quality images and detailed descriptions build homeowner trust and enable a modern shopping-cart-style buying experience on the tech's tablet.
Pricebook Pro also ties into Pricebook Connect, which syncs supplier catalogs directly into the contractor's pricebook. When a supplier's material price or product description changes, ServiceTitan can notify the contractor or update the pricebook automatically. That cuts out one of the most tedious parts of running an HVAC business - keeping equipment and parts pricing in lock-step with distributor changes.
