Flat Rate Plus Online (FRPO) is Aptora's SaaS flat-rate pricebook platform, built and maintained by James R. Leichter (known in the industry as "Mr. HVAC"). The product dates back to 1996, making it one of the oldest flat-rate pricebook tools still in active use. Today it is delivered as a cloud application where HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and electrical contractors can quickly create and manage flat-rate pricing books, generate invoices, accept payments, and keep QuickBooks Online in sync.

For HVAC shops, FRPO ships with thousands of prebuilt service tasks spanning common repairs, installations, and maintenance work. Contractors can use the library as-is, layer in their own labor rates and markups, or build a custom pricebook from scratch. Because Aptora has a long history in HVAC software (the company also makes Total Office Manager, a full FSM/accounting suite), the pricebook content reflects real-world service tickets and labor assumptions from HVAC and refrigeration operators.

QuickBooks integration is a core selling point: invoices and customer payments created in FRPO are recreated in QBO with zero differences, which matters for HVAC shops that do their books in QuickBooks but want a dedicated flat-rate front end for field techs. Aptora is headquartered in the Kansas City metro area, and pricing is available on request.
